Bobber fishing

Hello fisherman,
Since, the weather's warmed up I went bobber fishin' at my local pond, using some night crawlers and a small hooks. I let the hook hang down from the bobber about 18 inches, I would flick out the bait about 8-12 feet from shore and wait till the bobber went down. I caught two crappie, good sized ones too. I also caught about 4 bluegill. Bass are still slow, waiting for summer to get them active. Hope you guys are having a good spring.
